The US Mortgage crash spiralling well into western Europe and beyond, has occurred just in time for the deeply bankrupt states to pay heed to warnings that the time has come to put a stop to the runaway greed and adventure.
The fact that so many Harvard and Oxbridge-‘educated [!]’ experts failed to foresee the latest globalising crash is very significant.
I shall be looking at their failures in a later part of this commentary.
For now through, the time is absolutely appropriate for Alistair Darling to shelve the wasteful Crossrail hole plot for good.
